The records of the Oberlin Community Services Council consist primarily of annual reports for the years 1977 to 1987. Annual reports contain reports of the president, treasurer caseworker, and various committees. Also included is a copy of the Council's Constitution. In addition, the collection includes bylaws, committee meeting minutes, and listings of the boards of directors for the Oberlin Weekday Hot Meals Program.

Annual reports are arranged chronologically and contain reports of the president, treasurer, caseworker, and various committees.

Series 2. Constitution, n.d. (0.01 l.f.)

The Constitution of the Oberlin Community Services Council states the Council's purposes, establishes guidelines for membership, details the management and administration of the Council, and defines procedures for establishing committees.

Series 3. Oberlin Weekday Hot Meals Program, 1985-92, and n.d. (0.2 l.f.)

This series contains the bylaws of the program—both original and amended—which enumerate the purposes and define the participants of the program as well as create the governing board of directors. In addition the committee meeting minutes give both financial and service statistics as well as detail the changes in the program. This series also includes a miscellaneous file that contains operating instructions for volunteers, donation forms, a memo to the college community, and a newspaper clipping.

The Oberlin College Archives also maintains the records of the Oberlin Community Welfare Council (31/13) and the Oberlin Health Commission (31/14). See also the personal papers of A. Clair Siddall (30/143).

Records of the Oberlin Community Services Council were donated to the Oberlin College Archives by the Council in July 1988. [Acc. 1988/44] The Records relating to the Oberlin Weekday Hot Meals Program (Series 3) were received from Eric Carpenter (OC Library) in 1999.
