Bulletins no. 1-4, "issued by Independent and Republican Voters of Oberlin," in support of Ohio Governor James M. Cox, the Democratic presidential candidate, and for William A. Julian, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate. The primary issue discussed is the United States' potential membership in the League of Nations; prohibition and the Volstead Act is also discussed. Bulletin no. 4 contains a statement by Oberlin President H. C. King in support of the James M. Cox - Franklin Delano Roosevelt ticket. This issue also contains a list Republicans and Independents in Oberlin, as well as prominent Republicans elsewhere, who intended to vote for Cox because of his support for the League of Nations. World Citizenship Movement publications, 1941-48 (2f)

The World Citizenship Movement was founded in September 1940 in Oberlin, Ohio with the goal of promoting the brotherhood of men. Its publications were variously titled "News from World Citizens" and "The World Citizen." Accessions 1978/43 and 1980/35.
