Notes (2v) by Sue West Dexter (Mrs. John A. Redi) second semester 1904 in the “History of Painting” from Mrs. A.A.F. Johnston and the“History of Architecture,” teacher not specified. The latter may also have been Mrs.’ Johnston’s course, but it is not easy to square Miss Dexters’ titles with the courses listed in the 1903-04 Catalog. Miss Dexter received grades for that semester in “Ethics, Eng. Lit,. Hist. Italy, Cl. Arch. and Hist. Art” (Book 18, p.307) The notes were given to the Archives by Art Professor Paul Arnold. They had been sent in by Mrs. Redi’s daughter but Mr. Arnold was unable to locate the letter of transmittal. [Acc. 1981/14]
