New collection in progress! A selection of views documenting the Oberlin College campus. Spanning its history of over 175 years, these sketches, prints, postcards and photographs capture the changing built and landscape environment at Oberlin.

Restricted to Oberlin IP address users, this selection of over 200 images is available for educational use. Subjects include local monuments and campus architecture in support of courses in art history, history, and religion.

The Popular Images Collection items served as illustrations in a number of publications. Themes include Oberlin College's history and architecture, anti-slavery, missionary activity in China, women in higher education, and local, state, regional and national history.

A selection of the many portraits on the campus of Oberlin College, including those of Oberlin Colony founders and Oberlin College Presidents, faculty, and distinguished graduates.

A visual catalogue of the objects in the Oberlin College Archives, including items like the donkey and elephant political party mascot toys purchased by students during the 1940 College Mock Convention.

A selection of 322 black and white photographs of World War I Oberlin service men and women, found as a separate subcollection within the photograph collection.

A selection of 89 images from a photograph album made by Laurence MacDaniels and Frances Cochran MacDaniels, 1912 Oberlin College graduates, during their service for the American Committee for Relief in the Near East after World War I (Laurence H. and Frances C. MacDaniels Papers, RG 30/276).
