Celebrating Black History Month
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., 1965

During his June 1965 visit to give the Commencement address, the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., signed many autographs and drew large, attentive audiences. Dr. King's address was entitled "Remaining Awake Through a Revolution." He was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters.
