Overnights
Prospective students are invited to experience student life by staying overnight in one of the residence halls with a current student. This is a great opportunity to visit classes, sample dining hall food, and attend a variety of evening events. Overnight visits are available on a limited basis Sunday through Friday nights throughout the academic year. Overnights end on May 9, 2008 for the semester and will resume on September 11, 2008. Because of the number of admitted high school seniors requesting overnight visits during April, we are unable to accommodate juniors during that month. Please note during your travel planning that overnight visits are not available during periods of exams and breaks.

- Due to a high volume of overnight visit requests, we are only able to accommodate students for one night.
- Check-in time for the overnight is 4:30 pm the day of the overnight stay.
- Current Oberlin students host prospective students in their dorm rooms. Prospective students should bring a sleeping bag, towel, and toiletries.
Students and parents must complete the Visitation Permission/Release Form before they arrive on campus. This form requires the signature of a parent or guardian and should arrive at the Oberlin Admissions Office at least 3 business days prior to the visit. The form can be mailed or faxed. The Admissions Office mailing address is: 101 North Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074 and our fax number is 440-775-6905. You will not be permitted to stay overnight without this Form.
To arrange your visit, please call the Campus Visit Office at 1-800-622-6243 at least 2 weeks in advance. After your appointment is made, you will receive email confirmation and further details about your upcoming visit.
