Interviews
Prospective students are invited to schedule an on-campus interview. The interview is informal and conversational, lasting about 30 minutes.Interviews are offered to high school students beginning in the spring of their junior year through January of the senior year. Interviews are not required for admission except for homeschooled students and students graduating from high school in less than four years.
If you are not able to come to campus for an interview, you may want to schedule an alumni interview in your area or participate in one of Oberlin’s January interview days offered in several cities. To request an alumni interview, please complete the online request form at www.oberlin.edu/aluminterview.
Each student is offered only one opportunity to interview, whether on campus or off. Interviews cannot be scheduled by e-mail. Please call the Office of Admissions at least two weeks in advance to schedule your interview appointment.
