Faculty and Staff Publications

Recent books by Oberlin College faculty and staff are displayed on this shelf for perusing, sampling, or checking out. These books have publication dates within the last 10 years, and may be checked out for 3 weeks (with one renewal). Additional copies of these books are held in the Main Library's regular collections.

Recreational Reading

recreational reading This selection of several hundred bestsellers and popular titles is being leased to us by Brodart Company’s McNaughton Book Service. These books can be checked out for 3 weeks, and renewed once. Books are added to this collection continuously, and removed from the collection when they are no longer of interest (determined by circulation). To browse these titles in OBIS do a subject or keyword search for recreational reading collection.

Spotlight on the Collection

spotlight on the collection The Spotlight on the Collection series highlights particular aspects, subjects, and themes within our collections. The Spotlight sometimes coincides with exhibits in the library, or campus events; other times the Spotlight is conceived of and brought to you by student or staff groups around issues of interest; and sometimes the Spotlight simply draws attention to aspects of our collections that we think are particularly interesting and deserve attention. If you're interested in organizing a Spotlight display please see the Guidelines for Interested Groups/Individuals.
