Throughout the year OCTET works on various projects for faculty
or committees. Below is a list of such projects with links to the
results of those endeavors. Feel free to use these tools as you see
fit in your class or for yourself.
Web pages that will allow
students to access audio files but does not allow them, in any easy
fashion to download them. The examples in the linked page, either
use the kiosk property of the embed tag or are streamed using out
Real Media streaming software. These pages can then be zipped and
uploaded in to Blackboard.

Tutorials for using Excel (including
video screen capture)
Creating web base surveys where
data is directly input in to a database and can be downloaded and
opened in Excel.
Video digitization for the purpose of uploading the information
in to Blackboard. This is being done in many MUED & THEA courses
so that students can see how they progress throughout the semester
and can then use the videos as part of their portfolio. The digitization
was done in our office to assure that the files are not too large.
Since the videos are of individual students, we can not illustrate
the results on an open web site. Call OCTET or Albert Borroni for
details or a demonstration.
