The A&PS Handbook is newly revised. It provides basic information to guide you in your employment at Oberlin College, as well as general information on College resources and facilities.  The A&PS Handbook is not to be considered a contract between A&PS employees and Oberlin College.  Where there appears to be a conflict between this Handbook and more comprehensive materials, the latter take precedence.

A&PS Bylaws provide information on the governance of the A&PS Assembly. Also included as an appendix is detailed information on the A&PS election process. Details of the procedures to follow for processing a grievance are included in the A&PS Grievance Proccedures.

Detailed information about terms of employment, salary, and benefits is provided separately by the Human Resources (HR) Department to individual A&PS members upon their arrival. Also, check the HR website for further benefits information and forms. Benefit plans are subject to periodic revision by the Board of Trustees.
