Welcome to Oberlin College!

We're pleased to welcome you as a new member of the Oberlin College Administrative and Professional Staff! We hope this will be the start of a long and lasting relationship with Oberlin College!

We realize you may have many concerns and questions as a new employee. Also, you may be new to Lorain County, and new to Ohio. You may receive a more thorough orientation from your department, but in the influx of new information, you may miss something. Follow the links at the left to learn more.

The College Information link will include information on things such as ID cards, parking, library privileges, computer accounts, athletic facilties, etc.

The Community Information link inludes information on things such as entertainment, sports, banks, churches, local parks, etc.

For other helpful sources of information, please refer to Oberlin Online (updated daily), consult the Oberlin College Directory, known as "Fussers" (employee directory is also available online), pick up a City Directory from the Oberlin Area Chamber of Commerce (located in the Oberlin Inn, room 117), or consult the yellow pages in the Oberlin and Lorain County phone books. Other pamphlets can also be found inside the Student Union, Wilder Hall.
