A&PS Breakfast

The A&PS Council is comprised of seven members of the Assembly, elected by the Assembly, and up to seven additional members of the Assembly appointed by the Council to assure diverse representation. The Council acts on behalf of the Assembly and serves as its executive body.

Members of the Council are elected to two-year terms of office, with four vacancies filled one year, and three vacancies filled the next year. Newly elected members take office on 01 May. Appointed members serve terms of one year. No Council member shall serve more than four consecutive years.
